Just be the first to throw the steering wheel out of your car. Then either you win, or both of you die.
Democrats are playing chicken with our country. They have the edge because they genuinely don’t care if they wreck our republic. In fact, it’s growing increasingly obvious that that’s exactly what they want.
To paraphrase Von Clausewitz, politics is war carried out by other means.
Trust in God and fight to win. That’s about all we can do.
A very powerful article. I read it on the NwV site earlier this morning, and it left me with cold chills. (Oh, good phrasing, Phoebe. As opposed to warm chills, right? Get a grip.)
I’m sure Homer would say “cold chills” is poetically permissible.
Justice is supposed to be blind. No one is above the law is more than a talking point, it is the truth. If patriotic people get into power, they have every right to indict those who have committed crimes that there is concrete evidence for. The Christian with a Biblical worldview believes, “As a man sows, that he shall also reap.” Providence sees to that – we must have patience. As Jesus admonished, watch and pray.
What they really mean is “no Republican is above the law.” The Evil Party gets a free pass.
