Fake ‘Explosion at Pentagon’ Spooks Stock Market

Take a closer look (“What’s wrong with this picture?”): it’s fake.

The stock market tumbled some 500 points Monday morning in reaction to a supposed “news” report of an explosion at the Pentagon (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/05/breaking-stock-market-takes-brief-tumble-after-fake/).

Naturally: it awakened terrible memories of 9/11.

But it was a fake Bloomberg Twitter account that featured “an AI-generated photo of an explosion at the Pentagon. In another half-hour the stock market had recovered.

Elon Musk and others have called for a six-month moratorium on the development of “Artificial Intelligence,” on the grounds that we have no idea what it can do, no idea of what it might do, and certainly no idea of what it’ll cost us to find out.

An expert explained how the photo of the Pentagon explosion was faked. If you look carefully, you’ll see that the permanent fence and the temporary barriers just sort of melt into one another.

Think it’s possible that AI might start a nuclear war for us?

We do make it hard for God to keep us going.
