Our cat Robbie is 17 years old, but she got young in a hurry last night, chasing a moth that had found its way into our living room. Running, jumping, yapping at the moth (moths just don’t cooperate)–did our hearts good to see her so frisky.

One nice thing about cats, is that they are not expensive to entertain. One insect can keep a cat amused for hours. The cat I had a number of years ago, once alerted me to the presence of a tarantula on my bedroom wall. Rollicking fun ensued, and a good time was had by all, including the tarantula, who was cast into the outer darkness. 🙂
We don’t have tarantulas in NJ. I think if I found one on my bedroom wall, I’d plotz.
It was an exciting moment, but tarantulas aren’t actually dangerous.
Some of us have a wee touch of arachnophobia.
I don’t particularly like them, myself, but they are actually quite shy, and are not looking for trouble.
