‘Pat-a-Pan’ (David Archuleta)

It’s taken me all morning to get this hymn posted: to paraphrase Caligula, my computer is revolting.

David Archuleta goes to town on this ancient Burgundian Christmas carol, Pat-a-Pan–one of my favorites.

The Christmas Carol Contest is still being led by a hymn with 20 views on Day 1. But dig this: with thousands of carols to choose from, two readers, in two different countries, asked for the same performance of the same hymn, just minutes apart. How about that!

  1. Amazing. I was thinking of two songs yesterday, but couldn’t get on line at all. In fact, you may have already posted them- I have been knocked off for a while. Angels we have heard on high, and Away in a Manger were the two I had in mind. If you can use either, good, and if not, I will keep looking for others. We are in the middle of a snow storm here with wind and freezing rain, yippee.
