I’ll try to carry on business as usual today, but my heart isn’t in it.
Because I was determined not to practice the very censorship I denounce when others do it, certain comments got published here that probably should not have seen the light of day. I let things slide; and as a result, we have lacerated feelings on one hand and anger on another.
I have tried to create a community, a haven, here. I have failed. Maybe it always was impossible. People are going to misbehave from time to time. And say things that do very real harm.
I am sorry for it. I would give anything to put it right, have everything here the way it was two weeks ago.

I will pray for God’s direction for you in this endeavor, Lee. In attempting to be “fair”, one learns that some things need policing, or else chaos takes over everything.
And don’t I know it now!
Sometimes we are forced to take actions we would prefer not to take. The United States had become isolationist, but events in foreign countries forced a change in policy.
