The fox in this video is a wild fox, not a pet. But he doesn’t live in the wilds. Like many other foxes, he lives in an environment shaped and dominated by and for human beings. Look how well he’s adapted to it.
Now I miss the deer who used to saunter into our yard while I was writing.
P.S.–We knew someone who’d made friends with an egret. But don’t let the egret into your house. (Take a wild guess why not.)
There are a lot of interesting animal stories lately.
I’ve noticed that too. Perhaps some bigger wheels are turning. I want to see mankind and the animal kingdom return to living in peace. Perhaps God is giving us an advance view of His plans.
That is one tame fox. He’ll always be a wild animal, but he’s not terrified of humans. Personally, I wouldn’t let my hands get that close to his mouth, however.
This fellow has quite a YouTube channel.
There were the occasional Fox in my neighborhood in suburban Denver, but there was a clear pathway from my back fence to the edge of the developed area of town. Occasionally a fox would get on top of the fence line and tiptoe from yard to yard.
Just a couple days ago, I saw a video on the Luna the Pantera channel where a fox got under their fence and came into the yard looking for food. Now think of this, they have a Rottweiler and a leopard, sitting on the other side of the glass, and the fox just comes up and stares at them. Then they opened the door, and the fox didn’t flee. If I were a very small wild dog, and I saw a very large wild cat, I’d get the heck outta there.
That is what I thouht about concerning the animals with humans- The millennium when there will be peace in the Lord’s reign.
