What does a squirrel have to do, to get the cat to chase him? Maybe the cat is wondering why the humans have let a squirrel into the house in the first place. Betcha he’s jealous.

Yep, I’ve seen that activity several times.
The squirrel definitely wanted to play, and I suspect that the cat knew that it couldn’t keep up, so it just watched. If you think about it, playfulness in animals tells us something about our Creator.
