Integrity-free “activists” and pressure groups always like to round up children and use them as political pawns, enthusiastically aided and abetted by Far Left “journalists.” I was a real journalist for some years and I always found this tactic revolting.
It’s difficult to avoid the suspicion that whenever there’s a school shooting, Democrats jump for joy–another chance to repeal the Second Amendment! Another chance to abolish the right to bear arms! (“We can replace it with the right to choose your own pronouns!”)
This is what happens every single time. You could set your watch by it.
When my father went to high school, there were no school shootings. But a lot of kids had guns in their lockers so they could enjoy a little target practice after school.
A homicidal manias loose in that school would’ve been shot into confetti in two or three minutes.
