Who’s next under the woke guillotine?
This story ran yesterday on Justthenews.com, where I saw it. But actually it goes back to January, so we’re almost three months late.
The National Park Service decided to remove William Penn’s statue from Philadelphia “to make it more welcoming… and inclusive” (https://justthenews.com/accountability/cancel-culture/erasing-history-park-service-ax-william-penn-statue-philadelphia-park). When this decision was announced, public opinion blew up in The Administration’s face and they had to back down.
William Penn… hmm… Pennsylvania… Could he possibly have had anything to do with the state of Pennsylvania, or are those names just a coincidence?
I’m sorry that I had to come to this conclusion, but events have forced me to it: I conclude that Democrats, liberals, teachers’ unions and the rest of ’em hate our country and want to bring it down. Erasing or defaming our history is very much one of their tactics. To the sane and decent Democrats that I used to know… well, I’ll bet you regret this as much as I do.
Stolen elections have consequences. Do they ever.
He hardly strikes me as standing out as some sort of villain. No historic figure was flawless, but there were some very good people in the history of the US.
William Penn was one of them. Shame on the park service.

The Democrat Party used to be known as the party of the downtrodden and the GOP the country club set of rich people. Now the majority of the super-rich people are all in for the Democrats and fund them lavishly, so it is hard to vote them out of office. The GOP has become the party of the middle class, especially people of the Christian faith.
So it seems.
