Requested by Erlene: I’ll Be Home, by Carroll Roberson.
I like to post hymns requested by readers, and it’s open to everyone, every day. All you’ve got to do is ask–just make it in a comment anywhere, and I’ll be sure to read it.

I think of this quite often. This world is growing so dark and miserable, and at my age and
disability, there is not much I can do- so going home seems really wonderful.
Even as we grow old–this is a former judo champion talking, who’s now a mass of aches and pains–we have to do what we can. Maybe we can inspire younger people.
You are right– we are supposed to be the salt and light of the world for as much as we can for as long as we can. I try to do that, but some days, there is just no way to get past the
pains, extreme eczema and major brain fog. grrr
Your contributions to this blog are invaluable, Erlene. It may be small potatoes–but they’re OUR potatoes.
Thank you. Happy potatoes.
Hot potatoes indeed. Have about the song “Dem Bones.”
With pleasure–holding it for tomorrow.
