We had two rats for a while. They were affectionate and playful… although they sometimes fought after we turned out the lights. ThumpthumpthumpthumpSQUEEEEK!!! And then I’d turn the lights back on, to find these two innocent rats who wouldn’t dream of fighting. Yeah, sure.
They are cute, but I will still pass on having them for pets.
How about mice?
I’d like to have a pet rat or two, but they have such short life spans that it would be heartbreaking to keep losing them.
Yes, that’s the problem. And it’s worse with mice.
