Not Quite Tame (But Getting There)

Have you ever hand-fed wild squirrels? After a while they aren’t so wild anymore. There was a squirrel who used to sit down next to me when I sat on the porch step. Sometimes I forgot to bring squirrel treats, but he didn’t seem to mind.

  2. I used to feed squirrels at the former residence (small farm in Wa. State. Didn’t hand feed, but had several feeding spots for them on tops of fence posts where they would show up every day looking for their food. They loved the hazel nuts, walnuts and biscuit scraps.

  5. Still unable to get on my email where I can get to this blog mostly. My iphone is messed up too, and facebook only works intermittently. oh, sigh. technology is so wonderful.
