Funny Bunnies

I’ve never had a pet rabbit. The ones in this video are very appealing. I’ve made friends with a few wild bunnies, but of course that wasn’t the same as having a pet in your home. I’m sure I’ve missed something very nice.

  1. My brother’s wife had a sweet bun when they were still dating. She liked the name I picked for him: Excalibur (bet you can tell what story I was reading at the time). About six/seven years ago, where I live now, we were seeing this massive bun. He had all the coloring of the wild bunnies but outsized them all, more than double. We were convinced he had to be the offspring of a male pet that got loose and became acquainted with a wild female. He got the name “Big Jake the Jack” (even though he was definitely not a jackrabbit). Now we have one we named “Bob”, short for Big Ol’ Bun.

    We love our wild “unpets” as much as our in-house and our chickens.

  2. They are such innocuous creatures. I am increasingly convinced that we have seen only the tiniest glimpse of the good our God intended in His creation.

  4. I love cute bunnies, but never had one in the house. We had several in an outside pen near the house, and they always welcomed us when we went out to feed and water them.
