Now, on top of the hip, the knee, and the cancer piling up in my guts, yesterday Patty and I both came down with I don’t know what. For me it’s a stuffed-up nose running like Niagara Falls.
Well, how can we help but get sick, hanging around several different doctors’ offices throughout the week? If you want to find sick people, visit a doctor’s waiting room. That’s what we were doing all week, and it caught up to us. I pray it’s one of those bugs that only lasts 24 hours or so.
I’m going to try to do Oy, Rodney today, because I’m afraid that if I skip it, the continuity might suffer. Besides, I need a laugh. Do I ever need a laugh.
I prayed for you and Patty in church this morning, and I offered my Night Prayer of the Divine Office for both of you last night. I’ve been struggling with an ear-and-sinus infection myself all week, so I know what the constant pain is like. To say it’s debilitating is an understatement. But yes, we go on.
I pray daily for you, too, Phoebe–and for all my friends… too many of whom are afflicted with one damned thing or another.
I believe that there is an Influenza circulating. About 10 days ago I started having digestive problems and some upper respiratory problems. It lasted a few days, but was never too bad.
Take rest as needed.
Patty got sick first, and it lasted some 24 hours. If I’ve got the same thing, I should feel better by mid-afternoon. Meanwhile, I feel rotten.
Sounds like a good plan. I was only truly sick for about one day, but it took a few days before I was completely symptom free.
Something’s going around, that’s for sure. I wouldn’t put it past Democrats to subject America to a biowarfare attack so they can tamper with the elections.
Neither would I.
I’m sorry to hear of your sickness. It must be over the whole country. I have it too as well as several people near here. Trust in the Lord our Healer. He knows, He can take care of it.
Our prayers for one another are very important.
That they are–more than we can say.
I am getting a taste of what you are going through, Lee. In and out of doctor visits, getting my blood tested every month, etc. By Jesus’ stripes and wounds, we are healed.
I do get tired of being poked with needles.
