I’ve never had a guinea pig. Is it a usual thing for them to make friends with dogs or cats? Maybe one of you knows.

My guinea pig has been with dogs and cats and he ignores them though they are utterly fascinated with him. He even pays no attention to guinea pigs of the opposite sex despite their best efforts.
That’s an endearing video. I like the balloon idea. Animals are fascinating.
