We have just had a tele-conference with one of my many doctors (or was she a nurse?), and I’m a nervous wreck. Just getting it set up was a Labor of Hercules. I must’ve understood only about four words in ten.
Looks like life is going to get very, very complicated for a while.
All this stuff! Patty understands it, I let her do the talking. And most of the listening, too. I can’t help it, it goes right over my head every time. She says the conference made her feel much better. I’d be very far up the creek without her.
And none of this has anything to do with my crumbling hip.
Well, I don’t know what else to say. Too bad I’ve already had my cigar for the day.
Sometimes, the load from all that happen just gets to be too much, and it gets difficult to process all of it. It sounds like you are in good hands, overall. If Patty feels better about things, that’s very good. Focus on positive outcomes.
I have a new take here: if I can make it through all this ****, I can have a new hip.

Tele-conferences when it comes to your life’s survival are a nightmare. If you had them recorded that might help so you could listen again at your leisure and stop and pause parts that went over your head. Prayers of mercy for you, I have had to go through nothing as severe as what you are being tested with. Thank God, we have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
It’d be like high school chemistry–no hope of my understanding it.
