Where would Collige Joe go with his college diploma since he can’t even write proper English? Maybe he could get a job at McDonalds since he believes VP Harris worked there once.
A lot of these characters couldn’t hack a job at McDonald’s. Could you imagine this world in another 50 years?
I don’t think we even have another 50 years, but we could live without McD even if we do.
If Christ’s return is not imminent, the earth will be entering into a very dark period. Hopefully He will return soon. We definitely have wars and rumors of war, all over the place. The offspring of Abraham is back in its land and the coalition of Ezekiel 38 seems to be forming before our eyes, but trying to set a timeline is not a good idea. Jesus’ last words before returning to the realm of the heavens, was that it did not belong to the disciples to gain knowledge and seasons that the Father has appointed.
God dpesn’t need our advice.
True. Just observing the signs shaping up gives us pause to believe it will not be long.
Over the years, there have been various individuals and groups which have become obsessed with the End Times. There are historical examples of groups who have become so convinced that they were at the precipice of Christ’s return that they abandoned practical judgment and, in many cases, harmed themselves in the process.
Jesus gave us the signs of His return, but never gave us a timeline. We can trust that the information we were given is sufficient for our needs. I’ve come to the conclusion that the error results from thinking that prophecy is given to allow us to predict the future, but I see prophecy as having been given in order to allow us to recognize significant events if they should happen in our time.
From this perspective, current events certainly have my attention, but I’m not about to start proclaiming that the sky is falling, but as Christians in all eras, we should seek to keep our faith focused on our Creator, and not allow ourselves to be sidetracked. Whether Christ returns today, or in the distant future, our hope is secure, through Him.
