Comeback Trail

Well, I’ve fallen twice, so far. I’m not injured, but I hope there isn’t any more of it.
But I did finally get that cigar that I was pining for, Patty is feeding me like a king, and it was so good to sit for an hour in the sun. Our neighbor Josh–this man is a godsend to us–helped me out of the chair and back indoors. It must have done me some good: I have way fewer typos than I had this morning.

I’m having trouble with “chemo brain,” though. I can’t seem to post any images–I’m sure I’ve forgotten an important step that i’ve done thousands of times. *Sigh*

I’ll have a “Joe Collidge” for you tomorrow, God willing.

  1. Slow and steady wins the race. We’re just so grateful to have you back!
The ladies in my church craft circle, who’ve been praying for you, were very happy this morning to hear you’re home from the hospital and starting to post again. They’re continuing to pray for a full recovery.

    1. Thanks, Phoebe–and thanks to all the ladies, too.
I’m still pretty messed up. Well, I think I almost died, so a spot of chemo brain shouldn’t be a big deal. It’s very annoying, though–forgetting stuff you know you know.

  2. Both my elderly parents have balance issues. Stand in a door frame and practice standing on one leg without holding on too anything unless you need to. It will get better in time. -Watchman
