“What they don’t see won’t hurt us.”

Says the headline, the Dept. of Defense funds “active social engineering defines large-scale social deception” (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/shocking-revelation-thomson-reuters-far-left-propaganda-arm/).

Thomson-Reuters–which may or may not be an arm of the Reuters news agency–has a scheme of “identifying, disrupting, and investigating social engineering attacks.” What does that mean? It means to “exploit human psychology and trust, often bypassing technical security measures [CLICK LINK AND SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW CHART]. “Lies, half-truths, and omissions” are all on the table.

Do we understand this? Is this how we want our government to use the money it collects from us in taxes? Whom is to be deceived? (Hint: us.) Elon Musk says it’s not for our good (ya think?).

As Sun Tzu once said, all warfare entails deception. It’s okay for us to deceive our enemies. But here were are also talking about the American government systematically deceiving the American people. Thomson-Reuters landed a $9 million contract from the Dept. of Defense in 2018. They’ve been playing with it ever since.

  1. At the root, most social engineering starts with a lie. We all seek to present things in such a way that it works to our advantage, but social engineering adds a level of deliberate deception. According to scripture, who is the father of the lie?

    1. So are lots of things, which turn out to be false, over time. Remember how we were taught that all fossils are completely mineralized, until someone found soft tissue in a T-Rex thigh bone? Now that they have started looking, they’ve discovered all sorts of organics and the placement of dinosaurs in a deep timeline has been called into question.
