No food, no drink allowed this morning–because I’m going back to the hospital. Another operation. Kowabunga! They’re going to “shave” my prostate gland, whatever that means. And keep me overnight, with TV sets spouting babble and people strolling into and out of the room all night long, and turning lights on and off…
And then they wonder why you can’t sleep.
The fun starts at noon, so I’ve still got two hours and change in which to stockpile my anxiety. Supposedly I’ll be allowed to go home tomorrow. Unless they decide to put me down.
Tell ’em, mama, that I kept on working to the last. I pray I’ll see yiz all tomorrow.
Praying this goes well and you are home tomorrow.

I certainly sympathize, as I have been suffering the in and out, in and out of the hospital and I certainly do not feel any better yet. I am looking for self help remedies which have always been better for me– but of course, that depends on what the condition is. Prayers continue for you both. Peace and comfort in Jesus’ name.
My wife always has me ask lots of questions before a procedure or a new prescription. I have never heard of shaving the prostate as a treatment that helps, and I have had prostate cancer twice – i.e. ask plenty of questions. Prayers you are back tomorrow to give those Progressives and Deep Staters heaven.
