Stop the waste and stop the thievery!
How did we ever come to this? Our own government is robbing us blind, and has been for years and years. Thanks to President Donald Trump, we now have the Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE). But have they come in time to put out the fire?
The Trump administration now means to cut $600 million from “social activism grants” for training teachers in such Far Left standbys as Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (https://thefederalist.com/2025/02/18/doge-cost-cutters-should-audit-these-education-department-programs-next/). Up for grabs are “billions” of taxpayer dollars spent frivolously or even maliciously.
Frivolous? Oh! You mean for, like, “Kindergarten Global Citizenship”? That sort of thing? Or to “develop asset-based anti-racist mindsets”? OK, gotcha!
Now Donald Trump is busting up the party, calling the whole Education bureaucracy “a con job” that ought to be “closed immediately.”
He’s never been more right! And we have to support him. He’ll get these thieves’ hands off our money; but they won’t go quietly and he will need our help.
It’s amazing just how deep this goes. Even when I was in school, there was a bias towards the Left, but it’s gone much further, now.

As a Canadian, you are probably hearing a lot in the news about the tariff war in the works between our countries. You are probably hearing about how all us Canadians are clutching our pearls and going all patriotic, while our Prime Dictator mouths platitudes and engages in a dick fight, preferring to destroy our country rather than secure our borders or deal with our fentanyl crisis.
Don’t believe it.
While the main stream polls are claiming otherwise, in reality, about 60% of Canadians are actually wanting to join the US. Most of us like what Trump is doing and see our own desperate need for a DOGE. While I am not a fan of the idea of becoming the “51st state” (I prefer Western independence), I honestly think that that is the only thing that will save Canada. We have not been able to turf our corrupt government (and no, our Prime Dictator did not resign; he only stated his intent to resign, and I’ll be surprised if we are allowed another election, once they install a new Prime Minister in what is obviously a rigged leadership race. I honestly think it’s either become part of the US, civil war, or the utter collapse of Canada.
We need President Trump probably more than the US does right now.
I pray for Canada to get back on an even keel. The people of Canada deserve much better than they’ve lately received.
