Big Cuddlies

Some of you have never heard of tapirs. Related to the rhinoceros, they live in South America and SE Asia. These two in the video are South Americans.

knew they’d be wonderful animals to have around the house and yard, but my mother just didn’t see it that way. Look what you missed, Ma.

  2. Very interesting. I wonder what percentage of the population are aware of what a Tapir actually is? I’ve heard of them before, but this is only the second time I’ve seen a video of them, the first time being less than a week ago.

    They look like nice critters and it’s always great to see such positive interactions between wild creatures and humans.

    1. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one, even at the Zoo. Fascinating creatures, kind of halfway between a rhino and an anteater.
