Is Facebook Banning Images of Nativity Scenes? | Snopes.com

For reasons which have never been made clear anywhere, a school in the UK has decided it needs to become “more inclusive”… by excluding Christian holidays.

Like Easter. They’ve cancelled Easter (https://www.foxnews.com/media/uk-school-faces-backlash-after-canceling-easter-celebration-inclusivity).

You achieve “inclusiveness” by excluding people!

Norwood Primary School. They had an Easter parade–which really has nothing to do with Easter. And an Easter service, which does. But now they only want stuff that “aligns with our VALUES (LOL) of inclusiveness and respect for Diversity.”

Values, is it? Excuse me, I have to toss my cookies.

I don’t know if Britain is going to make it to 2100. What’s your guess?

[SIDEBAR: In an issue of Mad Magazine, circa 1959: A corporation hires a Muslim parking lot attendant on Dec. 22 so they don’t have to pay for an office Christmas party on the 23rd. Gee, that sounds familiar.]

  1. What about not involving the schools in any celebrations? I always felt that the schools should accommodate the beliefs and celebrations of the community, without promoting any particular beliefs and celebrations.
