Isaac Watts wrote this hymn in 1715 and it’s still being sung today: I Sing the Mighty Power of God, sung here by the Mountain Anthems.

  2. It is neat the way this tune and so many others are used in hymns using different words. I read where Martin Luther and his followers used bar singing songs that everyone loved and put Gospel lyrics to them.
