Watching the missiles come in
Put a hold on everything: the war isn’t over, after all.
When I went to bed last night there was a cease-fire between Iran and Israel. When I got up this morning, there wasn’t.
Now it’s back on, we’re told.
President Trump is trying to broker a peace deal while erasing Iran’s ability to acquire nuclear weapons. Please honk if you think Iran should have nuclear weapons. There’s surely a seat for you on the Democrat National Committee.
I’m at a loss, as to what is going on. When I went to bed last night, there had been a strike on Israel, originating in Iran, but the impression I had was that this was something that had, at least, been started before the ceasefire took effect. Normally, the last moments before a ceasefire involve some of the most fierce actions, as each side hopes to maximize their advantage. But this morning, the ceasefire is broken and Trump seems to be more angry at Israel, than with Iran. No idea of what to make of this.
