This is not a light-hearted jaunt through the scriptures. This is something that we need to know–and had better not forget.

  1. Wow! I grew up in an environment where the book of Revelation was part of the daily conversation. I’ve since learned to keep my expectations realistic, the prophecies of Revelation will happen in God’s time, and are not geared to human expectations. The good news is, everyone who seeks to please the One True God will receive the same reward, whether Christ returns during our lifetime, or not.

    And it is Good News. This world is off kilter because of sin. As individuals, we are powerless to remedy the situation, but that’s why the Good News is so good; God intends to reclaim rulership and make things right. So everyone who has suffered, from Able, to Noah (do you think that Flood was fun to go through?) to Abraham, to the prophets, and on into the era of Christianity, everyone seeking righteousness, will experience coming back to life under righteous conditions, when The Man Comes Around.
