Getting ready to attack!
Wow, Titus Livius would’ve had a field day with this! Romans would have been after him all day, asking him to tell them what it meant.

For reasons which are as yet unknown, a colony of bees in the town of Aurillac, France, went on the warpath a few days ago and stung everyone they could catch. Two dozen people were injured. A 78-year-old man got stung 25 times and went into cardiac arrest. Rescuers were able to revive him.
The whole thing only took some 30 minutes.
Why did the bees attack? The mayor blamed it on “Asian hornets” moving into the neighborhood. That’s French for “I don’t know!” Those Asian hornets are nasty, though. And they frequently attack beehives.
Well, they’re going to move the colony. Better way too late than never?
Bees turning on the people unexpectedly reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock’ “The Birds” except this wasn’t fantasy but real life. Maybe they can use something like this in the new Jurassic movie coming out.
Wow. I got into a tussle with a Yellowjacket once, a single Yellowjacket, and that was bad enough. These are strange times.
