I wasn’t going to cover any nooze today, but this bit of “Aren’t we clever!” from PBS caught my eye.
Tennessee has enacted a law that allows for public funding of adoption agencies even if they refuse, on religious and sanity grounds, to hand children over to “LGBTQ” households (https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/tennessee-governor-signs-anti-lgbtq-adoption-bill). Nine other states have already done so. The law does not change anything; it only protects some adoption agencies from being forced to change.
So naturally PBS reports it as an “anti-LBGTQ adoption law.”
The law–regrettably!–does not stop adoption agencies from doing “gay” adoptions. It only protects religious freedom by saying agencies do not have to do them, and can’t be punished, by having their funding pulled, for not doing them.
If you can’t see the difference, you’re a Democrat.
Yo, PBS! You have just demonstrated one of many reasons why most people don’t trust the nooze media anymore. Very slick, but not slick enough.
We’re on to the nooze media; and maybe someday we’ll elect a Congress that has the guts to pull PBS’s funding.
Woke is no joke. And it’s about time the no-news media caught up with the truth train before it becomes entirely out of reach.
What I never understood is why gays & lesbians try so hard to imitate heterosexual couples. They want a pseudo-marriage with a pseudo-family, they just don’t want to do it the way its always been done.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could have a government that actually did do the job we hire them to do. Don’t hold your breath, folks.
The problem is, as it has always been, that the government thinks it’s their job to **rule** us. Our founders tried their level best to engineer that out of the system, but they couldn’t change human nature. Sooner or later a permanent ruling class will arise. And then they will know nothing but how to stay in power and how to get richer.
If you can’t tell what a journalist thinks about the subjects of his article then that is journalism – too bad journalism is two feet in the grave.
It’s amazing, the degree to which objective reporting has become, essentially, extinct.
That was one of Lee’s pet peeves. He took great pride in his reporting skills and objectivity.
Lee may have been the last honest reporter.
