And Now for Something Different…

I’m back from the CAT scan, back from the supermarket; and after another 40 minutes of scanning the nooze, enough’s enough, “basta!” already.

Well… At least the grounds around here have yielded a bumper crop of Asiatic day flowers–these beautiful little purple flowers, scads of ’em: with lush green leaves to go with it.

I sat outside this morning and watched. And there’s plenty to watch. Half a dozen different kinds of bees. These clumsy-looking, long-legged bugs who always seem to be struggling not to fall off their perch. Lots of birds busy on the lawn today. And I know there are chipmunks around here, even if they stayed out of sight today.

When God finished making what we know as “nature,” He pronounced it very good.

And that’s what it is! Praise the Creator, the Lord of all. This is His work we’re admiring: and it bears witness to His glory and His love.
