By Request, ‘At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing’

We have another hymn request from “thewhiterabbit”–yes, you can enter the hymn contest more than once a day–At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing, performed by the Choir of Durham Cathedral.

I’m warned that posting all these hymns won’t re-invigorate my shrunken viewership numbers–but I go where I’m led and pray for the best. I have to return to writing a book this afternoon, and I have no idea how that will go, either. May the Holy Spirit direct our steps, yours and mine.

By Request, ‘At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing’

Requested by Susan, At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing, sung by the congregation and choir at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, New York City. This one goes all the way back to the 6th or 7th century, translated into English in the 1840s.

Now, if I do this right, I’m posting this Monday morning and you’re seeing it on Wednesday while we try again to find the doctor’s office…
