Requested by Susan, His Mercy Is More, sung by Matt Boswell and the Boyce College Choir. It’s not a Christmas carol; but Susan thinks we need it, and I agree: “Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.” Have mercy on our country, O Lord our God, and save us for your great name’s sake. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Let’s remind ourselves from time to time that not everyone and everything is under the Shadow. For instance, the young people in this choir at Boyce College, which is still a Christian college.
Requested by Susan: Christ the Sure and Steady Anchor, sung by Matt Boswell with the Boyce College Choir.
The anchor as a symbol for Our Lord Jesus Christ goes back to the very earliest Christian art. You can find it scratched into the walls of the catacombs.
Susan asked for this one: Matt Boswell and the Boyce College Choir, His Mercy Is More. I’m pretty sure this is a brand-new worship song, but it has a wonderful 19th-century feel to it, don’t you think?
