Here “the elephant in the room” is not a figure of speech; it’s a real elephant… whose ambition seems to be to go indoors. Maybe he heard the phone ringing. Given that an elephant can’t use the door, he does less damage than you’d expect.

Elephant Zoomies
I know they don’t look very fast; but this is elephant zoomies, and the best they can do. Notice they’ve worn all the grass away. They’ll be at it for hours.

We know elephants live in the tropics–who knew they’d enjoy snow so much? This is Lucas, the baby African elephant at the Toledo Zoo. Tropics, schmopicks, he loves the snow!
