This was the first hymn that came to mind this morning, so here it is–Christ for the World We Sing, sung by the choir at the First Methodist Church in Houston. I don’t know about you, but this one’s going to my heart.

Sung with sock by the choir at First Methodist Church, Houston: Onward, Christian Soldiers, the ungodly’s least favorite hymn. Turn up the volume–drown out some of that sludge we have to wade through every day.

This hymn came to me yesterday and stayed around for a while–which to me always means it ought to be the next hymn I post: Christ for the World We Sing, sung hear by the sanctuary choir at the First United Methodist Church, Houston.
