There has to be a clearing somewhere in this wilderness. All we have to do is find it.
I want to keep the Sabbath by steering clear of nooze. We have an infinite supply of it, no fear of running out. There will be plenty of it waiting for us tomorrow–all of it bad, I expect.
God ran out of Assyrians and Huns, so He uses Democrats to scourge us.
But not today! Judah the Maccabee never fought a battle on the Sabbath unless it was literally forced on him by the enemy–and he was battling for Israel against virtually insurmountable odds. He won anyway, by God’s grace.
Let the sword come out of the sheath again tomorrow.
Today, the Sabbath rest.
