Reading the Bible regularly, one eventually gets the impression that God’s people just about never listen to God’s prophets, and are more likely to kill them than to heed them. The ultimate example of that, of course, is Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Correct me if I’m wrong; but isn’t it so, that the only people in the Old Testament who listened to a prophet, and repented… were the freakin’ pagans in the Assyrian capital of Nineveh!
Couldn’t get Israel to listen. Couldn’t get Judah to listen.
Does America listen? Will she, before it’s too late?
