By Request, ‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’

Erlene asked me to post one of my favorite hymns this afternoon–Leaning on the Everylasting Arms–and I opted for this version of it by the Grascals.

I don’t know from country music, never heard of the Grascals–but they do make a sweet harmony, and they do make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Encore, ‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’

I’ve got a request for this, a hymn a dearly love, so why wait? Here it is now–Leaning on the Everlasting Arms by the Gordon Quartet–sung a capella, just sitting there in someone’s living room. Beautiful harmony!

Keep your hymns requests coming, folks. I’ll get to each and every one of them.

The times are evil and the age is dark. Sing Louder!

Again, ‘Everlasting Arms’

I need every hymn I can get today. I think I must’ve used this one already, but for the time being, it’s the one I want–Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.

I need to do some of that leaning.

So it’s off to the nursing home today, and probably my aunt won’t notice that I’m there. She hasn’t, lately.

Hymn, ‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’

Hey, where is everybody today? Hello out there?

Never mind. What do you say we kick off our weekend with a spirited rendition of a classic hymn? “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”–good advice!

There’s an awful lot of bad news in this fallen world,  opposed to the good news of the gospel; but when you see that, there’s really only one thing a Christian can do.

Sing louder!

Be strong and of a good courage; be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

P.S.–If there’s a hymn you’d like to see posted on this site, please let me know. I’m taking suggestions.
