The Satanic Temple sets up shop in the Iowa State Capitol. What’s wrong with that picture?
A Mississippi man has been charged with a “hate crime” for beheading a statue of Satan that had been erected in the Iowa State Capitol building (https://www.newsnationnow.com/crime/iowa-satanic-temple-destroyed-hate-crime/). You are not allowed to hate Satan.
Meanwhile, Democrats and assorted leftids have been toppling, defacing, and destroying statues all over the country, for years–and when has any of them been prosecuted for “hate”? Recently they destroyed a statue of Jackie Robinson in Wichita, Kansas. Jackie Robinson! Who overcame huge obstacles to become major league baseball’s first black player. What in the world was their beef with him?
Anyway, first they charged this visitor from Mississippi with a misdemeanor, but then upgraded it to a felony hate crime. Since then, donations to his defense fund have been pouring in from all over the country–$100,000 so far.
How come it’s not “hate” which a bunch of commies do it?
