I couldn’t resist this new release from Fountainview Academy, Rescue the Perishing. It’s from their 2017 mission trip to Mongolia. The sprawling city in the background, Ulaan Bataar, a hundred years ago was the frontier town of Kalgan.
I wonder if Mongolia is opening up as a Christian mission field.
Having just written my News With Views column for the week, I was in need of a hymn. My own strength is insufficient for the task; but “Blessed be the Lord my strength” (Psalm 144).
Thanks to Linda for requesting this hymn–nourishment for the soul. Pretty good for my blood pressure, too, come to think of it.
