Encore, ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

I knew I’d want to post this more than once, leading up to Easter–Up from the Grave He Arose, by the Voice of Eden. And see–they’ve got 300,000 views for it, so I’m not the only one. Anyway, it’s an ideal hymn for Easter.

‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

This is the first hymn that I wanted when I woke today–Up from the Grave He Arose, sung by the Voice of Eden. Really, you can never be too early to celebrate Easter. Is there any reason not to rejoice in Christ’s Resurrection every day?

Encore, ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

I’m re-posting this hymn only because I love it, and it was the first one to pop into my head today, and I love the way these guys sing it. Besides which, Our Lord Jesus Christ rising from the dead is at the very heart of our faith, and the very substance of the Good News.

Praise God for adding such men as these to our Christian family, world-wide.

How we used to belt this out in Sunday school! And I still love this hymn–Up from the Grave He Arose, one of the all-time glorious Easter hymns. Sung here (and no one does it better!) by Voices of Eden, from South India.

By Request, ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

Linda asked for this last night, but we decided to save it for this morning: Up From the Grave He Arose, sung by the Voice of Eden. It’s a Christian youth choir in southern India by Mt. St. Thomas–and can they sing! Turn up the volume on this one. Easter will be here before you know it.

Glorious! ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

This is the Voice of Eden, eight voices, singing Up From the Grave He Arose–thank you, brothers! Turn up the volume, sing along: this is Christ’s triumph. “Earth could not keep its prey/ He tore the bars away…” Jesus Christ, our Savior and our King!

‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

And let’s start off the day with this spirited rendition of Up from the Grave He Arose, sung by Daniel Thornton. Thanks, Erlene, for requesting it–and I wonder how many government regulations Christ’s resurrection broke.

Remember, folks, we take hymn requests: so if you’ve got one, let’s hear it.

By Request, ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

Turn up the volume, way up, for this one! I don’t know anything about these Voice of Eden singers, other than that you bet they can sing.

Up from the Grave He Arose–a hymn of triumph.

And they can put that in their transgender pipe and smoke it.

By Request, ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

Oh, I remember this from Sunday school! This is a hymn to shake loose the cobwebs.

Sorry to be starting the day so late: still haven’t caught up to the lost hour of Daylight Savings Time.

But this hymn is worth waiting for.
