Sometimes animals respond to inanimate objects in funny ways. Lots of times they just ignore them–pigeons don’t seem to care whose statue they rest on.
Here we have a horse with her fan club (two donkeys) steering clear of a small snowman. The horse is very dubious about the snowman, and the donkeys follow her lead. The horse would rather go out of her way through deep snow than come too close to the snowman. Maybe it’s a holdover from the Ice Age.
But if your nose is a carrot, sooner or later a donkey will eat it.
