The message may seem counter-intuitive, maybe even a little bit crazy, in an age of me-first self-esteem. But we can’t possibly give to Jesus as much as He gives to us: He gives us our very selves, and we are never more truly us than when we know that we belong to Him.

Thank you, Lee. This is my heart’s desire and though I often stumble, I keep walking on this path.
As I was reading in Luke 17, the words of this song: Trust and Obey came to mind. That led to remembrance of “the joy of the Lord is our strength…” which shows that when we please God, He strengthens us.
I love “Trust and Obey,” and have posted it several times. And probably will again.
