College Just Gets Worse and Worse

At Rollins College, Florida, they all but beheaded a Christian student for objecting to a Muslim instructor’s assertion, made in front of the class, that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was a hoax ( https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/2017/03/30/floridas-rollins-college-suspends-student-for-disagreeing-with-muslim-instructor-who-said-jesus-crucifixion-was-a-hoax/ ).

Yeah. The Romans were really big on fake crucifixions.

Well, the beheadings won’t come until after the college adopts sharia law; so for the time being, they just suspended the student. Because he disagreed with her claim, the instructor reported him to the “Dean of Safety”–hint: if your college has a Dean of Safety, your college has too much money and too many employees–for the “danger” he was “causing to the campus.”

Danger? Are these people quite all there?

College officials said the student’s remark would “jeopardize the safety and well-being of members of the College community.” I think that answers the question: No, they are not all there.

I wonder what would’ve happened if, instead of speaking out in class, the student had himself gone to the Dean of Safety and accused the instructor of making him feel unsafe. I rather think those jihad wannabes have that effect on a lot of people.

Your tuition dollars at work!

And so we say again, because we must: Parents who love and respect their sons and daughters do not send them to a university to be mal-educated. And I have no idea why they keep on doing it.

  1. I just received word from Brigitte Gabriel’s Act for America that the student has been reinstated. However, nothing has been done to the instructor who filed the false complaint against him.

  2. As I mentioned in an earlier post (in reply to Linda), this is the tip of the iceberg. I think that we are seeing the beginnings of wholesale acceptance of Islam in the western world. “Moderate” Islam postures itself as a religion of peace and I think that many people are taking it at face value.

We may not see mass conversions, although I wouldn’t rule it out, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see great acceptance of Islam as holding the keys to “Peace and Security” in the Middle East.

You could be on to something, Unknowable. Satan will use that mantra to bring the world under submission aka the one world government – in subjection to him of course.

    2. I would be very surprised if these smart people, who would be hard-put to organize a softball tournament, ever really put together a world government.

    3. I don’t think that they will ever achieve a world government, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Islam become the thing they turn to as a path to peace.

I’m not promoting this in any way, but I’ve seen the words “Peace and Security” tied to certain events in the Middle East more and more often, these days.

    4. I’m not sure that what they want is “peace” at all. They seem to tend more toward upheaval and chaos — not so much a love of peace as a rejection of true peace, the peace that passes understanding. Having rejected the love of a Father God, who asks only the free choice of returning His love, they’re looking for something that allows them no choice at all: a slavemaster god (Allah) who indulges — no, commands as a virtue — their worst impulses and offers the reward of power in this world and sybaritic pleasure in the next.

And then again, for some it’s just another fad, like the quasi-Zen that was so popular in the 1960s and 70s. Those who reject the true God always go chasing after false gods.
