My Newswithviews Column, Oct. 5 (‘Coercion’s on the March’)

Well, here it is, this week’s Newswithviews column–

I really am beginning to wonder about Christians and “conservatives” who continue to believe we can reach some kind of accommodation with the Far Left.

I already read it on the NWV website, and you are right on. The Scriptures warned us about these times, but it is still astounding to actually see it in real time. This is the time for the full armor of Ephesians, the determination of Peter, Paul and the others, and the wisdom to know we are in an all out battle that will not end, only get worse, until the Lord comes to put an end to it.

This is no time for accommodation with evil. As Jesus said, “if you are not for me, then you are against me” and that is a place much scarier than anything a bunch of loony leftists can do. Frankly, I do not give a rip what any of them think of me.

I’m with you on this, Erlene. I wholeheartedly believe that this is the persecution Jesus told us to expect. With a handful of exceptions, Christianity operated unopposed for most of my lifetime, but that is changing rapidly. I’m not pleased by many of the developments I see happening around me, but they a crucial steps in the fulfillment of prophecy.

We need new Republicans who will bring national attention to what depraved minds of people like Bernie Sanders and Diane Feinstein are up to. Judge Roy Moore comes to mind.
