An old-style Diversity Investigation

Every now and then, quite possibly by accident, tenure protects a good guy from the bad guys. This happened in 2016.

How many times have we seen “college authorities” climb down from high-handed ridiculous actions when credibly threatened with a lawsuit? They just about always do. They’re like cockroaches: shine the light on ’em, and they scuttle for cover.

Still trying to figure out how to get a job as Director of Diversity Investigations…

I was looking at the etymology of the word “diversity”. It used to have negative meaning: “being contrary to what is agreeable or right; perversity, evil”. How ironic. It wasn’t used as something positive until the end of the 16th century when it became a virtue for modern democracies. Then in 1992 it was co-opted to include race, gender, etc. They don’t give a source for that, but it is of interest that is the year Bill Clinton was elected president. It’s another example of how the Left takes words, and change their meaning. Control the language, control the narrative. https://www.etymonline.com/word/diversity
