Normal people under liberal government
We found it galling enough, sometimes, that the law told us what we couldn’t do. But we didn’t know when we were well off. Not content with telling us what we can’t do, liberals and other Democrats now craft laws to tell us what we must do.

The worst of it is when they tell you what you must say. When they are able to force you to say things that you know to be untrue and abominable, they torpedo your self-respect square amidships. Boom! Straight to the bottom.
No one can stand up to tyranny if his self-respect has been dissolved.
Christians must obey God rather than man.
