It’s really unfortunate that people have lost their imagination and sense of humor. These days, everything has to reinforce the PC message, or it’ll be scorned.
When I was in grade school, they used to occasionally sugar-coat various messages and try to pass these off as entertainment. I could spot one of these ploys from a mile away and routinely tuned out the message. My reasoning was that if they couldn’t be open about their intentions, chances are that they were trying to shield their intentions. Kids today seem to have had this ability squeezed out of them as part of the process of making them into “sheeple”.
For their own good, of course.
