It wasn’t their fault they went extinct; but what’s our excuse?

That quote by British sociologist Theodore Dalrymple pretty much sums up the whole “transgender” movement. Compare it to this official Tweet from the American Civil Liberties Union:
“Men who get their periods are men. Men who get pregnant and give birth are men.” It was issued just the other day, to celebrate “International Men’s Day” by wiping out any sane definition of “man” (http://www.gopusa.com/aclu-says-men-who-get-their-periods-are-men-men-who-get-pregnant-and-give-birth-are-men/).
They humiliate us, and strip us of our self-respect, by forcing us, for fear of being trashed and vilified as “haters,” to say things we know are simply not true.
The ACLU, under the guise of defending our civil liberties and our right to free speech, has been in the forefront of the massive Far Left jihad to remake our society into God knows what. The few good things they’ve done are nothing, compared to all the harm they do.
If we have any self-respect at all, we must preserve it by defying this lunatic campaign. Defying it until it stops. Refusing to say ridiculous things that we know to be false.
And refusing to vote for any fool who says them.

It is ridiculous, but it’s also toxic. This is how they break a culture.
If the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, then the rejection of Him is surely the beginning of folly. And I see a whole lot of folly today.
The Left is purposely trying to wreck our civilization so they can build something totally different, ruled by themselves, on its ruins.
I just started reading a book by Owen Strachan & Jonathan Parnell called Designed for Joy that explores the Bible’s teachings on God’s design for men, women and gender roles. This topic hits close to home for me because my youngest sibling is transgender and I have such a difficult time not being judgmental while also not seeming to condone the sinful lifestyle. It’s a real blurry line, sometimes.
St. Augustine’s mother had the same problem when her son was an immoral young man. She prayed for him until God’s Spirit saved him.
Sometimes, that really is the only thing we can do.
I know what you mean, A.R. A male member of my sister’s family has married a man. They claim they are happy, but we know in the long run if they don’t repent of the sin of what they are doing has its own punishment.
