There are some adults who shouldn’t even try to write about teenagers. Or anything else, for that matter. John Skovron is one of these authors. Someone should stop him.
I haven’t read anything as bad as Misfit in a while. I wonder if it would be any worse if Skovron wrote about adults.
Avoid this book as you would avoid the plague.
Sadly, a lot of what is written these days is like this. Cliches, trumpeting of some of societies worst traits as normal and desirable.
Just the “art work” on the cover would turn me off immediately. No way I would touch this. Same reason I watch very few movies or Tv shows.
Here is a suggestion for a really beautiful song: Josh Groban and Celine Dion singing “The Prayer”. Two beautiful voices blending.
Thanks, Erlene–I might have to hold that for tomorrow morning. I’ve got a heap of stuff today, that piled up while I was sick.
You have to remember that as things get worse culturally, there have to be apologists around to assure people that it isn’t as bad as they think ~ when it’s actually worse!
“Stinky”? – LOL! Love this word.
It’s just me doing higher criticism.
Thanks for the warning
I wouldn’t peg you for a likely reader of a book like that.
True lol
