How often does this happen–health experts get together for a conference, and a bunch of ’em come down with food poisoning?
In this case, what made it worse was holding the conference at a hospital and everybody chowing down on hospital food. I have my doubts about institutional food at the best of times. Imagine what the patients must’ve thought, if word of this had ever gotten out.
An object lesson in the need for checks and balances.
Ugh. I’m no health expert, but I’ve had food poisoning!
So have I–it’s not nice.
No kidding!
I believe that’s called karma or sometimes simple irony.
Wow, even cuts your confidence in the medical system more all the time.
Sad state of affairs.
Hospitals are an enigma. To get healthy you need fresh, clean air, nutritious food, and good sleep, none of which is provided by a hospital. They wake you up every three hours to take your vitals even if there is no need for it.
They wake you up to give you a sleeping pill.
Sorry I laughed
