What can be said of the Church in any country where transgender propaganda, Drag Queen Story Hour, nearly-nude Super Bowl halftime shows on TV at the church, and the ACLU all flourish? Can we say that Church has failed?
The Enemy has been gnawing and sawing at the foundations since the late 18th century, and has made horrifying progress: but clever clods within the mainline/flatline churches think they can go along to get along–and who needs the Bible, anyway?
We do, sunshine! We don’t need you, there will always be a real Church, but we do need the Bible.
So the High Official says the bible is not the word of God. Because he is? Talk about being High. And flatlined churches. B

All told, a total waste of space.
I have noted various denominations which have diluted the Bible’s message over the years. It starts subtly, back away from the Genesis account, cutting and pasting in some ideas from evolution, in the name of science. Then, the message of the denomination begins to take precedence over the message of the Bible. Eventually, people will be adamantly promoting unscriptural teachings in the name of the church. Some denominations have become quite strident with regard to this sort of thing.

Gresham Machan said “liberal Christians” aren’t Christians. I think he was right.
If people think that they can improve on God’s word, that’s a sad commentary.
I like that term, “flatline churches.” In Revelations Jesus called fake churches synagogues of Satan. I wonder why Jesus can be so harsh about evil but so many of today’s ministers are just sweetness and light. What I like about our pastor’s preaching is he first convicts us of our sin, then lifts up Jesus as the solution.
